The Government of India has setup the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at NITI Aayog. Realising the need to create scientific temper and cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds
Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode and learn / develop innovation skills.
One of the larger aims of the ATLs is to create a pool of talent that is future ready, by introducing and exposing young innovators to essential world skills; to get them to think out of the box, and break boundaries—and make something unique in the process!
On a broader canvas, the objective is to help instil a ‘maker’ spirit in young people, by providing opportunities for working outside the classroom, using hands-on experimentation and collaboration with the latest technology, and designing it to provide much needed solutions. The program aims to bring the do-it-yourself culture to the forefront, encourage and motivate students to become solution providers and get engaged in self-learning that will not only lead to the development of higher order thinking skills, but may eventually lead to discoveries, innovations and inventions.

The Atal Tinkering Lab powered by Roboskillify comprises tools such as DIY kits & educational equipment based on – science, electronics, 3D printers, robotics, etc. in accordance with the guidelines of NITI Aayog.

Towards this objective, a set of training workshops are being organized for teachers. The objective is to orient the teachers and provide them with the know-how to become enablers for the entire process and journey of tinkering in schools.

This module is aimed to help understand the basics of using computers and becoming digitally safe.
In this module, the objective is to help in generating multiple ideas for a Problem.
The content of this module would help in the process of refining ideas and giving them a proper shape.

If schools already have a ATL Lab but they need a curriculum for ATL Lab or having a difficulty in ATL Lab operation, the Roboskillify is abilities to oprate & maniten ATLs Lab as per school requirements. The Roboskillify team welcomes you to our family.

1. The applicant school would have to provide at least 1,500 Sq. Ft. of built up space. Applicant schools from hilly / Himalayan and island states, UTs would have to provide atleast 1,000 Sq. Ft. of built up space.
2. Applicant schools would be required to put in place the requisite physical infrastructure such as laboratory and workshop facilities, computer lab with internet,steady electricity connection,science Lab,library and playground.
3. The Teaching staff of highly qualified & experienced teachers of Science, Maths and Computer Science streams.
4. Regular attendance of 75% & above of the staff & enrolled students over the past 3 years.
5. For Enrollment, there must be a min. 400 students in Class 6th – Class 10th. There is a relaxation for schools which are located in hilly areas they need min. 250 students in classes from 6th-10th.
6. It also depends upon the performance of school students in the 10th & 12th board exams that are held in the past 3 years. The school will we judged on the basis of how much their students scored from 60% of marks to 90% of marks in the last 3 years.
7. Participation in Extra-curricular Science activity like National Talent Search Examination(NTSE) and other national or state level science innovation-based fair or events.
